Overview

This Chennai heritage weekend tour is a private 3-day, 2-night trip in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, covering Fort St George, the Government Museum and the temples and basilica of Mylapore. Chennai suits first-time visitors who want colonial buildings, Chola bronzes and working temples in one city. November to February is the most comfortable season.

Who it suits

Short-break travellers who like history and architecture, and are happy to walk and to dress modestly for temples; not a beach-and-swim trip
