Overview

This Warangal Laknavaram tour package is a four-day private trip in Telangana, with all three nights in Warangal. It joins the Kakatiya fort, the Thousand Pillar Temple, UNESCO-listed Ramappa Temple and Laknavaram Lake in Mulugu district. It suits history and nature lovers who want one hotel, and November to February is the best time to go.

Who it suits

Travellers who like carved stone and lake scenery, and want one base instead of daily hotel changes. Not for those who dislike a long Day 3.

Good to know

Day 3 is the long one

Ramappa and Laknavaram make a loop of about 170 km from Warangal, so the car leaves early

Footwear and dress

Temples need modest dress and shoes you can slip off, and the fort has little shade

Lake and forest rules

Laknavaram sits beside Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary, and forest walks there need the forest department's say-so, so none are promised

Heat

May reaches about 42 C, so the cooler months are far easier for the open fort and the lake
