Overview

This three-day Pulicat Lake and Tirupati tour in Andhra Pradesh spends one night at Sullurupeta beside the lagoon and one in Tirupati. The days split between flamingo and pelican watching and two temples run by TTD, Padmavathi at Tiruchanur and Venkateswara at Tirumala. It suits birdwatchers and pilgrims, and is best from November to February.

Who it suits

Birdwatchers and pilgrims who accept a dawn start and a long temple day; not for those wanting slow, free afternoons

Darshan day

Queue length at Tirumala changes by day, so Day 3 is kept free and flights should leave in the evening
