This Hyderabad to Warangal tour package is a five-day private trip through Telangana, with two nights in Hyderabad and two in Warangal. It follows the Kakatiya dynasty from Golconda Fort to Warangal Fort, the Thousand Pillar Temple and Ramappa Temple. It suits history and temple lovers, and November to February is the best time to go.

Arrive in Hyderabad, evening at Charminar
- Meet your driver at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport
- Drive to your Hyderabad hotel, roughly 25 to 30 km away

- If time allows, an evening walk around Charminar and Laad Bazaar

Golconda Fort and the Qutb Shahi tombs
- Morning at Golconda Fort, about 9 km west of the city centre, which began as a Kakatiya mud fort
- Test the clap echo at the Fateh Darwaza gate
- Walk to the Qutb Shahi tombs, just north of the fort's outer wall
- Afternoon free, or add Chowmahalla Palace or the Salar Jung Museum (closed on Fridays)
Drive to Warangal and the Kakatiya fort
- Morning drive of about 146 km on NH 163 to Warangal
- Check in and have lunch
- Afternoon at Warangal Fort, with its three rings of walls and the ruined Swayambhu Shiva temple site
- See the four Kakatiya Kala Thoranam gateways and the Khush Mahal hall
Ramappa Temple and the Thousand Pillar Temple
- Early drive of about 66 km to Palampet and the Ramappa Temple, begun in 1213 and named after its sculptor
- See the tower built of lightweight floating bricks and the carved figures
- Short stop at Ramappa Lake, about 1 km away
- Return to Warangal for lunch
- Afternoon at the Thousand Pillar Temple in Hanamkonda
Bhadrakali Temple and drive to Hyderabad airport
- Early visit to the Bhadrakali Temple on its hilltop beside the lake
- Check out of the hotel
- Drive about 165 km to Hyderabad airport
- Drop-off for your flight, ideally an afternoon departure or later
